What is DSL?
DSL, Digital Subscriber Line, is a technology that supercharges existing phone lines to create a high-speed path to the Internet.
Why would I want DSL?
DSL makes surfing the Internet and downloading files faster than ever before. With a direct connection to the Web, you have an "always-on" connection that never has to dialup and negotiate to get connected. And once on the Internet, you are moving at speeds up to 50 times faster than standard modems.
Where is DSL available?
Right now, DSL is available in Muenster, Valley View, Valley View East, Forestburg, Myra, Rosston and into the rural areas around those communities. Nortex will be expanding its capabilities to other areas where feasible.
How much does it cost?
DSL Pricing begins at $39.95 per month. This price includes the cost of Internet access. The installation cost is currently FREE (usually $200). The customer must also purchase a DSL modem which is currently reduced to $75 ($50 off normal price).
